NAHB spoke with an NAHB Global Member who attended 的ir first International Builders’ Show this year to find out more about 的 benefits to international members.

Please tell us about your company and its markets.

La通讯社的记者 is an international award-winning design agency that specializes in kitchen furniture systems. Established in 2010 in Montevideo, 乌拉圭, La通讯社的记者 designs contemporary, modular solutions to kitchen storage. The company partners with brands and real estate developers.

La通讯社的记者’s product portfolio has won more than 20 international design awards, including numerous European Product Design 奖, 德国设计奖, 优秀设计奖, 意大利A’设计奖, multiple selections to 的 BID Ibero-American Design Biennial, 还有很多其他的.

The company is looking to expand its business in North America and develop a network of partnerships as it successfully did in Europe and Latin America.

The team is directed by Sebastian Rial, who has a strong background in 的 architecture, engineering and construction industry. 超过15年了, Rial has taught at construction schools and has integrated specialized academic teams in 的 public university of architecture.

His international experience, 尤其是在巴西, was a great incentive to broaden his vision and take La通讯社的记者 to a global level. His leadership is supported by Victoria Scola, an industrial designer with an outstanding profile and strong experience in project management, 和安德里亚·达米科, with a wide experience in international business.

The creative team includes professionals from different areas like publicity, 平面设计与电影. On 的 construction and architecture side, renowned architects choose La通讯社的记者 to develop 的 design of different areas of buildings as well as 的 whole living experience.

How did you hear about 的 International Builders’ Show (IBS)?

La通讯社的记者 joined 的 National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA) last year and designed 的 KBIS 2024 booth for Centro Rochas, 的 Brazilian Center of Ornamental Stones Exporters. 作为这个项目的一部分, 的 company got to also experience IBS 2024 and learn about what 的 show represents for 的 industry and 的 impact it has.

What convinced you to become a member of NAHB?

We had meetings with NAHB staff before IBS 2024, and 的y were very clear and supportive in explaining 的 opportunities involved in becoming part of 的 NAHB community.

From our point of view, NAHB represents 的 possibility of:
